United States: The Starship system construction site known as Starbase stretches across visible distances among the remote Texas landscape.
This launch facility stands as a tall structure in the area that historically belongs to the Texas Gulf Coast plains.

During the last decade, SpaceX established this site, where they created a spacecraft system targeting Mars’ human exploration while performing eight rocket-based test flights of their mighty interplanetary launcher.
CNN reported that visitors who fish on the Gulf now traverse an area that undergoes intense construction and encounter massive propellant tanks and water tanks beside heavy machinery.
The Starbase area will become a brand new city in Texas after its establishment.
On Saturday, 283 people who reside in this area will decide SpaceX employee demographics whether to establish a new municipality and choose a mayoral candidate and two commissioners.

This local area of the Rio Grande Valley is moving closer to becoming the next frontier of space flight with municipal incorporation, yet some observers believe SpaceX has accumulated too much control.
People who hold Boca Chica Beach dearly worry that becoming an independent entity will allow SpaceX to function beyond regulation limits while gaining stronger authority over beach accessibility.
Such opposition has reached Texas legislative buildings this current year.
According to Rene Medrano, a former high school football coach who’s owned land near this area for 40 years, “People want to go to Mars. You know what? Let ’em go to Mars,” CNN reported.

“But you know what, there are people that want to go to the beach and enjoy Boca Chica Beach,” Medrano continued.
SpaceX submitted their request to create Starbase as an official city the previous year.
Four years ago, Musk announced his plans for a new city while calling for engineers, technicians, and builders to establish a new home in the locality.
The company headquarters of SpaceX will relocate from California to its new base at Starbase, according to recent announcements by Musk.
