Melania Makes a Rare Rally Appearance Amid Controversy! 

United States: Melania Trump, the former first lady, was extremely scarce on the campaign trail this election period Sunday evening when she came forward to speak at her husband’s rally in New York City.

She was not mentioned among the speakers for the event by the trump campaign, though she took the stage to present her husband at a rally in Madison Square Garden. 

Most of the time, she did not spend more than five minutes speaking, stating that the country was experiencing a decline in quality of life. 

According to Melania Trump, “Let us charge together with a shared vision that builds on American greatness. Let’s seize this moment and create a country for tomorrow — the future that we deserve,” The Hill reported.

She has actually had limited public campaign presence with her husband, the former first lady, in recent times. 

The Madison Square Garden event was the first time that she participated in a rally for this campaign cycle. She went to the Republican National Convention in July but did not get up and speak. 

Furthermore, the first lady hosted two fundraisers for the LGBTQ group Log Cabin Republicans this year: one was at Mar-a-Lago in Florida and another one in New York. 

The former model created controversy earlier this month when she wrote in her new memoir that she supports abortion and women’s decisions regarding their bodies “based on their own convictions.”
