United States: According to the Cook Political Report, six swing states, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, have been identified as critical for either candidate to win the 2024 presidential election in November.
Almost six percent of voters in these states would be prove crucial and deciders of the fate of candidates in the upcoming election as Axios reported.
Trump mainly focused on inflation, crime, and immigration in its messaging, whereas the Biden campaign emphasized stability, democracy, and abortion, as USA Today reported.
Election Voting status in critical swing States
President Biden managed to win only three out of these states in which his margin was being measured in single digit percentage points. In case of a chargeback, the battleground states were among the states that became an issue after former President Donald Trump lost the 2020 President’s election.
1. Arizona- here, Biden won the election by 0.3 percent
Trump disputed the election result in Arizona after Biden won by a heavy margin of only 10,457 votes, where 3. 4 million votes were cast in November 2020 election.

Trump has been identified as an unindicted co-conspirator in a plan to nominate false electors to persuade the electors to endorse the election fraudulently. Wednesday expresses charges of eighteen Republican leaders, former associates of Trump. Therefore, they were brought to court and have been accused of conspiracy and forgery for claiming they were Presidential electors and that President Trump did not lose the 2020 election in the state.
2. Georgia- Biden won the election by 0.2 percent
Trump challenged the outcome of the 2020 election in Georgia after Biden barely won the state by an 11,779-vote margin with almost 5 million votes counted, as USA Today reported.
In January, a grand jury in Georgia charged him, with the 18 others, for the interference of elections. The motion not only contain the multiple accusations, like, violation of Georgia’s racketeering law, wrongful act as a public officer, and issuance of false writing and statements, but also the other ones.
3. Michigan- Biden won the election by 2.8 percent
Michigan’s prosecutor filed charges against 16 people, each one of which was an eight criminal violation, concerning the 2020 election. The charges drawn up in July 2023 were conspiracy to commit forgery and publishing records with clearly intent to cause physical and financial harm, as well as other counts. Here, Biden won with a margin of 154,188 votes where over 5.5 million cast.
4. Nevada- Biden won the election by 2.4 percent
A Nevada county grand jury has charged six of the Trump electors with two felonies each. Nevada was the state where Biden won, with a margin of 33,596 votes and more votes overall, with a cast of 1.5 million.
5. Pennsylvania- Biden won the election by 1.2 percent
Despite the election being called for Biden, Trump fought to win Pennsylvania in late November 2020. The Pennsylvania attorney general shut down Trump’s claim as “unreal,” contradicting the reality after the former president again tried to sow doubts in election results at a post-election GOP event.
Biden outpaced Biden through a narrow victory in his home state of Pennsylvania, which included 80,555 votes to almost 7 million voters cast.
6. Wisconsin- Biden won the election by 0.7 percent
In Wisconsin, where Biden was the winner, ten Republicans wrote a petition and declared themselves as “duly elected and qualified electors.” Biden is from Wisconsin state, with just over 3 million votes and a 20,682 votes margin, as USA Today reported.
